We are following closely the Coronavirus situation and strictly follow the recommendations of government institutions to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

The Sofia Synagogue is closed for tourists and no prayers are held at this time. The latter was granted special permission by the Chief Rabbi of Israel.

The synagogue works with reduced staff until the Passover feast, allowing people to individually enter the building to purchase matzah, wine and other kosher products.

After Passover, kosher products will only be purchased by pre-order at kosher@sofiasynagogue.com or by calling 0888874755
